Parent Notification: Weather Update Classes Resume
Somerset ISD offices and campuses will be open tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, 2025. Based on updated weather forecasts and consultation with the National Weather Service and local emergency response agencies, freezing precipitation is no longer a concern.
We will continue to monitor weather and roadway conditions closely and provide updates if there are any changes.
As always, any adjustments to campus or district activities will be communicated through our usual channels, including text, email, website, and social media.

Somerset ISD closely monitors weather conditions to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Our district evaluates multiple factors before deciding to delay, cancel, or dismiss classes early due to inclement weather.
Forecasts predict the possibility of freezing precipitation, which may impact roads on Thursday morning. Local school districts are closely monitoring weather patterns and consulting with the National Weather Service and TxDOT to assess road conditions.
If severe weather develops, Somerset ISD will notify families directly through our usual communication channels to include call, text, email, and social media. We encourage parents/guardians to ensure their contact information is up to date in Skyward.

Join Somerset ISD for our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Thursday, November 14th, 2024. We invite families to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal alongside their children during lunch at their respective campuses. Lunch times may vary according to campus schedules.
How do I purchase tickets?
Beginning Monday, October 28, 2024 - Friday, November 1, 2024 Somerset ISD’s Nutrition Department will sell meal tickets at Bulldog Stadium’s home side concession stand from 7:45 a.m.-9:00 a.m. On November 4, 2024 and November 5, 2024 the Nutrition Department will sell tickets from the Transportation building located at 4315 Smith Road, Von Ormy, TX 78073 from 7:45 a.m.-9:00 a.m.
Ticket prices:
Adults $8
Staff $7.50
Non-school children $3
Cash, check, and money orders are accepted. Everyone must have a meal ticket to enter.
