Parents,
Students will receive recognition for completing their summer project and submitting it to their RLA teacher next year. Students will present their project when the school year begins.
The packets will be distributed at end of year and additional packets will be available for newly enrolled students.
5th grade book: Season of Styx Malone
6th grade book : Dragon Ops
The book marks have strategies student can use as they read their book...the book is theirs to write on and keep. The project is due upon their return.
The project is a tri-fold report. Every student will receive a folder as a tri-fold, the template to complete their report and attach to their tri-fold, though students can be creative with their project. Students can also demonstrate they read their book by using the bookmark strategies.
